The Creative Curriculum
Infants
Our infant classroom is at a 4:1 infant : teacher ratio. Our infant teacher shifts are typically 7:00AM-12:30PM & 12:30PM-6:00PM. Infant teachers are all trained in CPR/First Aid, SIDS/Shaken Baby Syndrome, and on top of that they take 30 continuing education hours each year in training classes that benefit their teaching and caregiving for infants.
In this classroom, teachers focus on making sure all of our precious little ones have their daily needs met. The day typically consists of lots of cuddling, reading and learning through play using our learning curriculum.
The Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive program that optimizes key windows of opportunity to build strong foundations for little ones. Based on the latest early brain development research, this program offers easy-to-use activities emphasizing all developmental domains (language, cognitive, physical, social and helps set Goals for Infants and offers complete support to equip our caregivers to optimize the growth and development of the children in their care.
Toddlers
Our Toddler Program is a full of wonder and exploration. Lots and lots of exploring takes place in this room as these little ones are learning how the world around them works. We aim to provide a comfortable learning environment where positive relationships between teachers and children develop.
In our toddler classroom, we utilize the Creative Curriculum for ages 18 months – 36 months. Designed around the latest scientific early brain development research, this year-round program focuses on enhancing the simple joy of childhood while equipping caregivers to nurture curiosity through exploration.
In our toddler programs, we introduce our enrichment activities as well as daily music and movement for all of our toddlers.
Pre-K
In a high quality pre-k program positive relationships are formed between children and each other as well as between the children and their Teachers. Preschoolers come to us eager, excited, and full of questions about the world around them. We use the Creative Curriculum for Pre-K as our curriculum in this age group.
Creative Curriculum is designed to ensure Kindergarten Readiness and focuses heavily on literacy while also weaving in science, math and the arts.
